Clean Your Lawn
This is the first important step to care for your lawn. During the spring, once the snow has melted and the soil is dry, rake it with a leaf rake to remove any debris left from leaves and dead grass as well as any excess thatch. This will allow for quicker recovery and greening of your lawn. You can also use a mechanical dethatcher to remove excess thatch, but it is not necessary to do this every year. However, some spring-cleaning must be done every year.
